1. Learned counsel for the respondents submits that he has instructions to state that the petitioner and all other similarly placed persons working as Lab Assistants in the Sashastra Seema Bal will be redesignated as Head Constables (Lab Assistant) by giving them the requisite training on or before 31.12.2024.

2. In the light of this stand taken by the respondents, nothing further survives for adjudication in the present petition which is, accordingly, disposed of by binding the respondents to their aforesaid stand.
