1. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the issue raised by the petitioners is now covered against the petitioners by a decision of the Apex Court in Devesh Sharma v. Union of India & Ors.[2023 SCC OnLine SC 985].

2. In the light of the aforesaid, nothing survives for adjudication in the present petition and the same is, accordingly, dismissed in terms of the decision in Devesh Sharma (Supra).
