Further to order dated 10.07.2025, Mr. Ashok Singh, learned counsel, has entered appearance on behalf of the respondents. He has made certain submissions with regard to the modalities for the petitioner's resignation from service of respondent no. 1 - Railtel Corporation of India.

Mr. Singh submits that, in his resignation letter dated 29.05.2025, the petitioner has tendered his resignation from the service of respondent No. 1- Corporation with effect from 15.10.2025. Respondent No. 1 has therefore issued a communication dated 14.07.2025, accepting the petitioner's resignation with effect from 15.10.2025. However, he submits, upon instructions, that the petitioner may submit a representation stating that his resignation should be treated as effective immediately. resignation will be accepted with immediate effect 3.
In order to obviate the necessity of the petitioner reporting to the transferred station at Hyderabad, Mr. Singh further submits that the petitioner's accumulated paid leaves (including casual leave, earned leave, medical leave etc, as may be available) will be adjusted for the period from 11.06.2025, i.e. the date when the petitioner's medical leave ended, until the effective date of his resignation, and the balance due, if any, will be paid to him.

Mr. Siddhant Kohli, learned counsel for the petitioner, states that this arrangement is acceptable to the petitioner. 5.
The writ petition is, therefore, disposed of, with the consent of learned counsel for the parties, with the following directions: - a. The petitioner will submit a representation to the respondent within two days from today, requesting that his resignation letter dated 29.05.2025 be accepted with immediate effect. b. Upon submission of the aforesaid representation, the respondent No. 1 will take steps to accept the petitioner's resignation with effect from the date of the representation.
c. The accumulated paid leaves, including medical leaves, casual leaves, earned leaves etc., as may be admissible for the petitioner will be adjusted for the period from 11.06.2025 until the effective date of his resignation.
d. Any further amount due to the petitioner will be paid to him after such adjustment.
e. Subject to the above, the petitioner is not required to report to the transferred station at Hyderabad.

The Court expresses its appreciation for the efforts of both parties and their learned counsel, towards reaching a mutually acceptable resolution in the peculiar facts of the case. 7.
