This is an application filed on behalf of respondent No. 2 under Section 528 of the BNSS seeking early hearing of the writ petition. 2.

The next date in the matter is 03.12.2024. However, respondent No. 2 states that there is an urgency as his father is not well and he is in urgent need of finances.

For the said reasons, the application is allowed and the petition is taken up for hearing today.

This is a writ petition seeking quashing of FIR No. 0606/2023, registered under Sections 420/34 of IPC at P.S.: Bawana, Outer North The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.

As per the FIR, there was some discrepancy in the order placed by respondent No. 2 and the supply made by petitioner No. 2. 6.

However, during the pendency of the proceedings, the parties have arrived at a settlement, wherein a sum of Rs. 21 lakhs has been agreed to be paid to respondent No. 2 in full and final settlement of all his dues and the respondent/complainant has agreed to cooperate in quashing of the FIR. 7.

A sum of Rs. 6 lakhs has already been paid. Rs. 15 lakhs is paid today i.e. Rs. 4,00,000/- by Demand Draft No. 965090 dated 26.11.2024 drawn on Canara Bank, Rs. 3,00,000/- by Demand Draft No. 965091 dated 26.11.2024 drawn on Canara Bank, Rs. 4,00,000/- by Demand Draft No. 015363 dated 26.11.2024 drawn on HDFC Bank and Rs. 4,00,000/- by Demand Draft No. 965089 dated 26.11.2024 drawn on Canara Bank. 8.

The petitioners are present in Court and identified by Mr. Vishwa Ranjan Kumar, Advocate. Respondent No. 2 is also present in Court and identified by Mr. Dharmender Kumar, Advocate and IO SI Mohit, PS Bawana, Outer North District.

Both parties state that they have entered into the aforesaid settlement out of their own free will, volition and without any threat, force, undue influence or coercion.

Since the parties have arrived at a settlement and no disputes are pending, I am convinced that quashing of such proceedings on account of compromise would bring about peace and would secure the ends of justice. This Court does not see any fruitful purpose if criminal proceedings are permitted to be prosecuted any further. It is a fit case for quashing. 11.

In view of the above, FIR No. 0606/2023, registered under Sections The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.

420/34 of IPC at P.S.: Bawana, Outer North District is quashed. 12.

Petition is accordingly disposed of.
