Allowed, subject to just exceptions.

The application is accordingly disposed.

CRL.M.A. 22994/2024 (under Section 528 BNSS Seeking Early Hearing of the Petition) 3.

An application has been filed on behalf of the petitioner for early hearing of the Writ Petition on the ground that he had moved an application for furlough in June, 2024, which has not been decided till date. 4.

Learned Prosecutor has no application, if the present application is allowed.

With the consent of both the parties, the Writ Petition is taken up today.

It is submitted in the Petition that an application for Parole was filed by the petitioner on 26.06.2024, but the same is still not been decided. 8.

Learned Prosecutor submits that the verifications are required to be carried out before the application can be processed. However, there is no application forthcoming as to why since 26.06.2024, no action has been taken on the application.

The respondents are directed to decide the application within seven days.

With these directions, the petition stands disposed of. 11.

Needless to say if the requisite compliance is not made, the petitioner is at liberty to approach this Court afresh.

The next date of 27.08.2024 fixed in the matter, stands cancelled. 13.

A copy of the Order be sent to the Jail Superintendent for immediate compliance.
