This public interest petition has been filed alleging that the respondent No.3 herein has been illegally operating a shop in the vacant Government property situated in front of the main entrance gate of Qutub Minar, Mehrauli, New Delhi.

The photographs filed vide Annexure-P/1 to the writ petition reveal that there are many shops in the area in question and it is un-understandable as to why the petitioner has targeted only the respondent No.3. At any rate on the basis of the vague averments in the petition, not supported by any acceptable material, we are unable to hold that the matter involves any element of public interest and therefore we are not inclined to entertain the petition.

Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed.
