In compliance of the order dated 18.11.2025 passed by this Court, a Status Report has been filed.

The Status Report states as under:

1. That, the petitioner Sh. Vishnu Gupta has filed a Writ Petition before the Hon'ble High Court of Delhi seeking Security.

2. On the last date of hearing i.e. 18.11.2025, Hon'ble High Court has directed to file a status report, clearly indicating the exact position as to the measures and protocols adopted for ensuring the protection of a person, who has to travel and stay outside the jurisdiction of the Delhi.

3. In this regard, it is submitted that, a letter dated 24.11.2025 has been sent to DCP Security to provide the procedure of providing the All-India Security to a person.

Further, as per the letter dated 27.11.2025 received from the PHQ, it is intimated thatThe matter is examined by MHA in consultation with Central Security Agency and decided the security category of the individual on caste-to-caste basis in accordance with the instruction of Yellow Book. Besides in some matter MHA issue directions to the State Police to address the security concerns of Individual based on local threat perception. (Copy of letter enclosed) 3.

Mr. Sanjeev Bhandari, learned ASC appearing on behalf of the Respondent no. 2, submits that security has earlier been provided to the petitioner as and when requested. With respect to security outside Delhi, it is submitted that whenever the petitioner intimated the Delhi Police, the concerned security agencies outside Delhi were duly informed and the same arrangement shall remain continued in future also. 4.

In view of the Status Report and the submissions made by Mr. Bhandari, nothing further survives for adjudication in the present petition.

Accordingly, the present petition, along with pending application(s), if any, stands disposed of.
