The petitioners vide the present Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 seek quashing of FIR No. 547/2023 dated 25.08.2023 registered under Section 308 IPC at P.S. Krishna Nagar Delhi and all proceeding emanating therefrom in view of the Settlement arrived at between the parties. 2.

Issue notice. Learned ASC accepts notice on behalf of the State. 3.

A request for quashing of the FIR has been made on account of the Settlement Deed dated 01.09.2023 inter se the parties. The parties are residing in the same locality and had a dispute over parking and there was a simple injury to the complainant. The parties are present before this Court in person today, and have been identified by their counsel and Investigating Officer concerned.

Today, the complainant who is present in Court states that he has no objection if the FIR and the consequential proceedings are quashed. 5.

In view of the above facts that the parties have amicably resolved their differences out of their own free will and without any coercion, hence, it would be in the interest of justice to quash the abovementioned FIR and the proceedings pursuant thereto. Moreover, there is no legal impediment in quashing the FIR in question.

Accordingly, FIR No. 547/2023 dated 25.08.2023 registered under Section 308 IPC at P.S. Krishna Nagar Delhi and all consequential proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

The petition stands disposed of.
