Appellants have taken exception to the order dated 25.04.2024 whereby the appellants have been directed to deposit 50% of the impugned bill amount and on such payment, the respondent herein has been directed to restore the electricity connection.

After hearing arguments for some time, learned counsel for appellants states that he does not press the present appeal. However, at the same time, he states that appellants are interested in finding out amicable solution of the matter and, therefore, matter be referred for mediation at Rohini Mediation Centre.

Learned counsel for respondent appears on advance notice. He states that respondent would have no objection if the matter is referred to Mediation Centre.

In view of the aforesaid, present appeal is dismissed as not pressed. However, both the sides would be at liberty to move appropriate application before the learned Trial Court with respect to referring the matter to the Mediation Centre.
