This writ petition has been preferred on behalf of the Petitioner seeking a direction to Respondent No. 1 to sanction the Study Leave and to issue relieving order in favour of the Petitioner so that he can join the Post Graduate course in 'M.D. Anaesthesia and Intensive Care' at Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education & Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh. 2.
Petitioner had approached this Court since the sanction for the Study Leave was not forthcoming and the consequential relieving order on account of which he was unable to join the course at PGIMER, Chandigarh. By order dated 19.07.2024, this Court upon issuing notice to the Respondents had, by an interim order, extended the joining time of the Petitioner with Respondent No. 3 till the next date of hearing. 4.
Learned counsel for the Petitioner informs the Court that the sanction for the Study Leave has since been granted and the relieving order has also been issued and in fact Petitioner has joined the Post Graduate course in 'M.D. Anaesthesia and Intensive Care' at PGIMER, Chandigarh. 5.
Petition is accordingly disposed of as no further orders are required to be passed. Pending application also stands disposed of.
