The Petitioners contend that the sale deed dated 1st September, 20231, as well as the General Power of Attorney dated 1st February, 20232, are undervalued and liable to be impounded. In this regard, they have filed a petition before the Collector of Stamps/ SDM, Punjabi Bagh, Nangloi, Delhi, under Sections 33 and 40 of the Indian Stamp Act, 1899 on 19th June, 2024. The grievance urged in the present petition is that no action has been taken in the said case, and accordingly, the Petitioners seeks directions for the Respondents to impound the aforenoted documents. 2.

Mr.

Santosh Kumar Tripathi, Stand Counsel representing 1 Bearing registration No. 6267, Book No. 1, Vol. No. 5044 on Pages 40 to 45 registered on 05th September, 2023 before the Sub Registrar SR-IIA, Punjabi Bagh, Delhi. 2 Bearing registration No. 247, Book No. 4, Vol. No. 1803, Pages 140 to 146 registered on 3rd February, 2023 before Sub Registrar SR-VI-B, Narela, Delhi. Respondents No. 1, 2, 6 and 7, states that the Office of the Sub-Divisional Magistrate had issued notice to the Petitioners to appear before him, however, there has been no response. Mr. Anuj Kumar Gard, counsel for Petitioners, denies receipt of such a notice. Nonetheless, he states that the Petitioner shall appear on the next date, which Mr. Tripathi has informed is scheduled on 26th July, 2024 at 3:00 PM.

In light of the above, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to the concerned Respondents to take a decision on the Petitioners' petition under Sections 33 and 40 of the Indian Stamp Act, 1899, in accordance with law, within a period of eights weeks from today. 4.

It is clarified that the Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case. All rights and contentions of parties are left open. 5.
