Present Public Interest Petition has been filed seeking issuance of directions to Respondent no.1 to constitute a committee to monitor the progress of all pending Bonded Labour/Child Labour ("BL/CL") cases having an element of trafficking in all the Trial Courts of Delhi and for directions to Respondent no.2 to issue a directive to the police department to ensure speedy and proper investigation in BL/CL cases having the element of trafficking.

2.

During the course of arguments, it transpires that the real reason for delay in disposal of BL/CL cases is the manner in which investigation is conducted by the police.
