The present petition under Section 482 of the Cr.P.C. seeks the following prayers:

"a) - to set aside the impugned order dtd. 13.07.2023 in CA No. 70/23 of the Ld. Appellate court of granting maintenance to the Respondent-wife by upholding the order dtd. 10.01.2023 of the Ld. MM.-05 (Mahila Court) South East District, Saket Court, New Delhi; And b) - to pass any other or further order in favour of the Petitioner-husband which this Hon'ble court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case and in the interest of justice; And it is prayed accordingly."

Vide order dated 18.10.2023 learned Predecessor Bench of this Court passed the following directions:

"12. In the meanwhile, subject to the petitioner depositing a sum of Rs.4,00,000/- before this Court in the name of Registrar General within four weeks, the remaining arrears of around Rs.4,00,000/- shall be kept in abeyance and not being assisted to pay. The Registrar General is directed to invest the same sum into an interest bearing FDR with auto renewal clause.

per month to the respondent regularly and on time." 4.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent submits that the said directions have not been complied with till date. 5.

None appears on behalf of the petitioner.

There was no appearance on behalf of the petitioner on the last date of hearing as well, i.e., 10.01.2025.

In view of the above, the present petition is dismissed in default for non-prosecution and disposed of accordingly.
