The present petition has been filed seeking quashing of FIR No.351/2015 registered under Sections 356/379/34 IPC at P.S. Nand Nagri, Delhi on the ground that the parties have amicably settled their disputes. 2.
As per the allegations levelled in the FIR, the petitioner gave beatings to Respondent No. 2 and snatched Rs. 19,990/- from Respondent No. 2 and ran away.

Learned APP for the State submits that in the present case the petitioner is the only accused and respondent No.2 is the complainant/victim. Learned APP for the state submits that the applicant is involved in other case being FIR No. 595/2014 registered under Sections 323/341/34 IPC.

into a settlement vide MOU/Compromise Deed dated 25.06.2024 and in terms of the settlement, respondent No.2 is now left with no claim or grievance whatsoever against the petitioner. Learned counsel for the petitioner further states that aforenoted other FIR was compounded by the concerned Court vide order dated 26.07.2019.

The petitioner and respondent No.2, who were present in the court, have been identified by their respective counsels as well as by the Investigating Officer.

The petitioner has shown remorse for his conduct and he undertakes not to repeat the same in future. Respondent No.2 states that he has entered into the aforesaid MOU/Compromise Deed out of his own free will, volition and without any coercion. He further states that he has no objection if the present FIR and consequent proceedings are quashed. 7.
Learned counsels for the parties submit that no other proceedings are pending between the parties.

The parties shall remain bound by the statements made in Court today.

In view of the above facts and since no useful purpose will be served in continuance of the present criminal proceedings, it is directed that the aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings arising therefrom are hereby quashed, subject to payment of cost of Rs.5,000/- by the petitioner to be deposited with the Delhi State Legal Services Authority (A/c No.: 18580110053263, Bank: UCO BANK, Branch: Rouse Avenue, IFSC: UCBA0003364) within a period of four weeks from today.
