Petitioners are aggrieved by the 'Teachers Eligibility Qualifications in Medical Institutions Regulations, 2022' issued by the National Medical Commission to the extent it omits 'Radiological Physics' as a teaching subject for three Medical Specialties, i.e. 'Radiation Oncology', 'RadioDiagnosis' and 'Nuclear Medicine'. Counsel for the Petitioner, at the outset, draws the attention of this Court to email communication dated 30th September, 2022 whereby the National Medical Commission had given a response to the Petitioner's representation which reads as follows: The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.

Counsel for the Petitioner, states that the Petitioner's representation to the NMC seeking restoration of 'Radiological Physics/Medical Physics' as a teaching subject has not reached the final stage. 3.

In the opinion of the Court, at the first instance, Respondent No.1 must take a decision on the Petitioner's representation. Let the instant writ petition be treated as a representation and Respondent No.1 is directed to consider the same and give their response within six weeks from today. 4.
