After some arguments, it transpires that the petitioner's legal notice dated 12th October, 2023 has not been decided by the respondents till date. On the oral prayer of learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner is given liberty to file a supplementary note to the legal notice dated 12th October, 2023 within a week.

Accordingly, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the Director General, BSF to decide the petitioner's legal notice dated 12th October, 2023 as well as supplementary note by way of a speaking order in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within eight weeks. The rights and contentions of all the parties are left open.
