The petitioner seeks regular bail under Section 439 Cr.P.C. in case FIR No.73/2016 registered under Sections 376/506 IPC at PS New Ashok Nagar. Status report is on record.

I have heard the learned counsel for the parties including the counsel for the complainant and have examined the file. The petitioner is in custody since 28.01.2016. The petitioner and the victim were known to each other for the last about ten years. Physical relations took place between the two on various occasions albeit on the alleged promise to marry. Upon completion of investigation, a charge-sheet has already been filed.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner is admitted to bail on furnishing personal bond in the sum of ` 50,000/- with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of the Trial Court.
