% 15.07.2016 Petitioners and respondent nos. 2 and 4 are living in the same area. A quarrel took place between them which resulted in registration of two cross FIRs bearing FIR 570/15 under Sections 308/323/324/34 IPG and FIR I 571/15 under Sections 308/323/34 IPG both registered at police station Sabzi Mandi. As per the FIRs, both the parties assaulted each other By:AMULYA
resulting injuries to both the parties which have been opined as simple. Since parties are living in the same colony they have settled the matter amicably vide settlement dated 19® November, 2015 in order to mamtam harmonious relation in future. Parties to the above writ petitions, who are involved in aforesaid FIRs, submit that both the FIRs may be quashed m view of the settlement arrived at between them.
^ Keeping in mind the above facts and further that quarrel had ensued on some trivial matter wherein both the parties sustained injuries and now they want to maintain harmonious relation in future, in the interest ofjustice, FIR 570/15 under Sections 308/323/324/34 IPC and FIR 571/15 under Sections 308/323/34 IPC both registered at police station Sabzi Mandi and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed, subject to however, cost of ^10,000/- to be deposited by each of the petitioners of the above writ petitions with the Delhi High Court Legal Services Committee within four weeks. Receipts be produced before the Investigating Officer. Both the writ petitions are disposed of in the above terms. K,J.
