% 16.02.2018 Respondent no. 2 Ms. Saman is present in Court and has been identified by SI Ashish Kumar of police station Bhajanpura. Respondent no. 2 submits that she has settled the matter with the petitioners of her own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion before the Delhi Mediation Centre, Karkardooma Courts on 18th February, 2017. Respondent no. 2 submits that she has no objection in case FIR is quashed against the petitioner no. 1 and his relatives, that is, petitioner nos. 2 to 7. Keeping in view the settlement arrived at between the petitioner no. 1

and respondent no. 2, no fruitful purpose would be served to keep the criminal proceedings pending.

Accordingly, FIR No. 188/2012 under Sections 498-A/406 IPC and Section 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1964 registered at Police Station Bhajanpura and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.
