At the very outset, Mr. Sanjay Lao, learned Standing Counsel for the State on instructions from I.O. SI Dhiraj Singh, submits that the investigation is virtually over and that the school in question has settled the disputes with the main accused i.e. Ashutosh Pattanayak, and the proceedings qua the main accused has already been quashed by Coordinate Bench of this Court on 29.07.2025 in CRL.M.C. 5049/2025.

He also submits that as per instructions, the police would submit a Closure Report before the concerned Magisterial Court. 3.
Therefore, the grievance raised by the petitioner in the present petition does not seem to exist anymore.
