This petition is filed on behalf of the Petitioner under Section 29A (4) and (5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 ('1996 Act') seeking extension of the mandate of the learned Arbitrator by a period of 6 months. 2.

Disputes having arisen between the parties in relation to supply of electrical items for administration of work at Aryabhatta College, University of Delhi by the Petitioner, Sole Arbitrator was appointed by the Delhi International Arbitration Centre ('DIAC') on 07.06.2023. It is stated in the petition that the extended mandate of the Arbitrator has expired on 05.04.2025 and the arbitral proceedings are at the stage of evidence of the Petitioner.

the extension of mandate of the Arbitrator.

Accordingly, with the consent of the parties, mandate of the Arbitrator is extended by a period of 08 months from 11.07.2025 and period between 06.04.2025 to 10.07.2025 is regularised.

Petition is allowed and disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
