The parties have filed a joint application under Order XXIII Rule 3 of the Code of Civil Procedure for recording of the settlement between them and for passing a decree in terms thereof. The application is signed by both the parties as well as their counsels and is supported by their respective affidavits. The terms of the settlement are recorded in the settlement agreement dated 25th October, 2018 which is annexed as Annexure-A to the application. I.A. 15629/2018 along with affidavits and Annexure-A is marked as Ex.C-1.

The settlement between the parties is lawful and is recorded. The suit is decreed in terms of the settlement Ex.C-1 which shall form part of the decree.

Both the parties shall remain bound by the terms of the settlement. 4.
Learned counsel for the plaintiff submits that the defendant has paid
Rs.5,00,000/- to the plaintiff in terms of the settlement. The statement is taken on record.

Pending applications are disposed of.

Copy of this order be given dasti to counsels for the parties under signatures of the Court Master.
