Counsel for the respondents, upon instructions, have placed before me communication dated 13.2.2018 addressed by the Director, Animal Husbandry to Delhi Race Club. Inter alia, by virtue of this communication the Delhi Race Club has been asked to postpone/cancel the event, i.e., Derby as a ban operates on the conglomeration of horses for a period of three months on account of "glanders" disease having been discovered in the notified area.

In view of this development, Mr. Dayan Krishnan, learned senior counsel, on instructions, seeks to withdraw the petition with liberty to raise his grievance in accordance with law.

Writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn. Pending application is also closed.
