The present petitions arise out of an order dated 27th February, 2013, passed by the Metropolitan Magistrate on an application filed under Section 156(3) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 19731, by Mr. S. S. Sandhu, Inspector General, CRPF (the Complainant), against the Petitioners in CRL.M.C. 1138/2013 and CRL.M.C. 1506/2013. By the said order, the Magistrate directed registration of an FIR. This order was subsequently set aside by ASJ-02/FTC, New Delhi District, Patiala House Courts, Delhi, vide order dated 24th July, 2013, in a revision petition preferred by the State. 2.
Thereafter, the Complainant preferred a petition under Section 482 of CrPC [CRL.M.C. 3476/2013] challenging the revisional court's order. The said request was allowed by this Court vide order dated 26th May, 2014, The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.
whereby the revisional court's order was set aside and the Magistrate's order under Section 156(3) of CrPC was restored. Consequently, FIR No. 746/2013 was registered on 16th October, 2014. 3.
Upon completion of investigation, the State filed a final report under Section 173 of CrPC seeking cancellation of the FIR. The Complainant filed a protest petition before the Magistrate, which came to be decided by order dated 12th April, 2017. By the said order, the cancellation report was accepted, and the protest petition was dismissed. Aggrieved thereby, the Complainant preferred Revision Petition No.
391/2017, which was dismissed by order dated 29th July, 2024 and as a result, the cancellation report stands accepted, the protest petition rejected, and the challenge thereto also stands rejected.

In light of the above developments, no further orders are required to be passed, the present petitions are disposed of accordingly along with any pending application(s).
