This hearing has been done through hybrid mode. 2.

The present petition under Section 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act seeks following prayers:- "A. To summon and punish the Contemnor for committing contempt of this Hon'ble Court's orders dated 24.05.2019 passed in WP No. 3525/2019 as per the provisions of law.

B. To Direct the contemnors to implement the order dated 24.05.2019 of this Hon'ble Court;

C. To pass any other order which this Hon'ble Court may deem fit in the interest of justice"

Vide order dated 24.05.2019 in W.P.(C) 3525/2017 passed by learned Single Judge of this Court, the following directions were passed: - " The learned counsel for the respondents has brought a cheque for Rs. 15,000/- in the name of 'Aasra Fund' which is to be maintained by the Registrar General of this Court. Let it be deposited and kept in an interest bearing Fixed Deposit subject to further orders of this Court. The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.

This petition seeks direction to the respondents to decide the petitioners' application for grant of alternate plot of land in lieu of acquisition of their agricultural land. According to the counter-affidavit of the respondents, the petitioners have supplied all relevant documents but their ease is still under consideration for years.

Let this petition be treated as the petitioner's representation by the respondents and a decision be taken in terms of the records as well as this representation by 31st August, 2019. The petitioners shall be duly intimated about the same.

The petition is disposed-off in the above terms." 4.

The present petition has been filed against the alleged wilful disobedience of order dated 24.05.2019 in W.P.(C) 3525/2017. 5.

Compliance affidavit dated 15.02.2022 has been filed on behalf of the respondent, wherein it has been recorded as under:- "7. That it is humbly submitted that the Recommendation Committee constituted in District North for considering the cases for recommendation of alternative plots has considered and decided/recommended for rejection of the aforesaid application made by Shri Hukam Chand- father of the petitioners as per Minutes of Meeting dated 29.09.2020. The said decision regarding rejection of the aforesaid application has been conveyed to the petitioners by reasoned and speaking order dated 31.03.2021. It is humbly submitted that application of the father of the petitioner for allotment of alternative plot has been considered in compliance of the order of this Hon'ble Court as per the policy guidelines and relevant judicial pronouncements by this Hon'ble Court and the Hon'ble Supreme Court. True copies of the order dated 31.03.2021 issued/conveyed to the petitioners and Minutes of Meeting dated 29.09.2020 are annexed as ANNEXURE R-1 and ANNEXURE R-2 respectively."

None appears on behalf of the petitioners.

There was no appearance on behalf of the petitioners on the last three dates of hearing as well i.e., 10.11.2025, 02.02.2026 and 20.02.2026. The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.

In view of the above, the present petition is dismissed in default for non-prosecution and disposed of accordingly.
