The case of the petitioner No. 1 in this writ petition is that she is the wife of respondent No. 1, who is an employee of this Court [respondent No. 2, herein]. Matrimonial proceedings are stated to be pending between petitioner No. 1 and respondent No. 1. In the meanwhile, she has filed the present writ petition seeking the following reliefs:- "1. Issue a writ of certiorari or any other appropriate writ, order, or direction under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, directing Respondent No.2 to consider initiation of disciplinary proceedings against Respondent No.1 in accordance with law, in light of the facts W.P.(C) 9650/2025 The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. mentioned in the present petition;

2. Issue a writ, order, or direction restraining Respondent No.2 from altering or removing the name of Petitioner no. 1 from the official service records of Respondent No. 1 without following due process of law;

3. Pass any such other or further orders as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the present case and in the interest of justice"

Ms. Asmita Singh, learned counsel for respondent No. 2, who appears on advance notice, states that service records of respondent No. 1 presently reflect the name of petitioner No. 1 as his wife. She also states that, if petitioner No. 1 makes a representation to respondent No. 2 for initiation of disciplinary proceedings, the same will be considered in accordance with law.

At the request of Mr. Deepak Singh Thakur, learned counsel for the petitioners, respondent No. 2 is directed to treat the present writ petition as a representation for the said purpose and take appropriate action, as may be found to be warranted.

In the event petitioner No. 1 wishes to seek any other relief against respondent No. 1 in the matrimonial proceedings, she is at liberty to do so.

Respondent No. 1 is not represented today. It is, therefore, made clear that this Court has not made any observations on the merits of the matter, and the directions passed herein are without prejudice to the rights and contentions of respondent No.1.

The writ petition is disposed of with the above directions.
