This petition has been filed, under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, seeking extension of the mandate of an Arbitral Tribunal, which is in seisin of disputes between the parties under a Concession Agreement dated 28.06.2001.

The mandate of the learned Arbitral Tribunal was extended from time to time, lastly by order dated 22.03.2024 in O.M.P.(MISC.)(COMM.) 214/2024 until 31.07.2024. 3.

I am informed that the award has since been reserved, and the learned Arbitral Tribunal has, by an email dated 18.07.2024, directed the parties to approach this Court to seek an extension of one month w.e.f. O.M.P.(MISC.)(COMM.) 539/2024 The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. 31.07.2024 in order to enable the learned Arbitral Tribunal to publish the award.

Mr. Ankur Mittal, learned Standing Counsel for the respondent, appears on advance notice, and states that the respondent has no objection to the relief sought.

With the consent of learned counsel for the parties, the petition is allowed, and the mandate of the learned Arbitral Tribunal is extended for a period of one month w.e.f. 31.07.2024.

The petition, alongwith the pending application, stands disposed of in these terms.
