Mr. M. S. Khan, Advocate appearing on behalf of the petitioner stated that on the last date of hearing i.e. 30.07.2024, the petitioner who is the landlord asked for disposal of the present petition with the direction to the trial court to conclude the trial within a span of 06 months. It was wrongly mentioned that the petitioner be given to time to vacate the tenanted premises. The correction in the order dated 30.07.2024 is made accordingly. 2.

Notice to the respondent not issued as steps are not taken. 3.

The petitioner filed an eviction petition bearing RC ARC no.573/2019 titled as Mohd. Islam V Hameed under section 14 (1)(e) read with section 25 B of the Delhi Rent Control Act, 1958 against the respondent and the respondent after service of summons as per the Third Schedule filed an application for grant of leave to defend along with an affidavit which was allowed vide order dated 03.05.2024. The counsel for the petitioner stated that the present petition can be disposed of after giving direction to the trial court to conclude the trial arising out of eviction petition bearing RC ARC no.573/2019 preferably within a period of 06 months.

Accordingly, the present petition is disposed of with the direction to conclude the trial arising out of eviction petition bearing RC ARC no.573/2019 titled as Mohd. Islam V Hameed preferably within a period of 06 months from the date of receipt of this order. 6.

A copy of this order be sent to the trial court for information and compliance.
