No one is present on behalf of petitioner.

This Court's attention has been drawn to a report of Office of Superintendent of Prison dated 11.12.2023.

As per the said report, UTP Rajab Ali Khan was called and heard wherein he had failed to submit any date/time/occasion in respect of allegations of demand of protection money by the jail officials. It was further stated in the report, that no such punishment ticket has been issued or registered against him for recovery/possession of any prohibited articles on any occasion during his lodgement in present jail. It has also been stated that, DAP 3rd Bn. is already providing Separate Armed Guard (SAG) facility to inmate UTP Rajab Ali Khan and the same has never been withdrawn by jail authority. Further, the report also clarifies that the inmate is regularly availing inmate phone call facility and the facility of physical mulakat on regular basis. 02.06.2021 passed by this Court, appropriate safety and security measures have been taken by the jail authority for the safety of inmate. It has been further stated in the report that on 14.07.2023, during the search conducted by the Tamil Nadu Special Police (TSP), the petitioner had misbehaved with the TSP personnel as well as Delhi jail officials. Accordingly, punishment ticket was recorded against him for misbehaving and obstructing the search. 4.

In view of the aforesaid discussion, this petition herein stands disposed of since it is devoid of merit.
