By way of the present petition, the petitioner is seeking grant of parole for a period of 60 days, in case arising out of FIR bearing no. 227/2010, registered at Police Station Safdarjung Enclave, Delhi, for the offences punishable under Section 302 of Indian Penal Code, 1860 (hereafter 'IPC').

Issue notice. Mr. Yasir Rauf Ansari, ASC (Crl) accepts notice on behalf of the State.

The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner states that the competent authority has not yet decided the application filed by the petitioner herein for grant of parole for a period of 60 days and the present petition be treated as a representation on behalf of the petitioner. 4.
