CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE V. KAMESWAR RAO

% 24.10.2019 This is a petition under Section 29(A) of the Arbitration & Conciliation Act, 1996 for extension of time for the learned sole Arbitrator to complete the proceedings and render the Award. Learned counsel for the petitioner has drawn my attention to order dated July 13, 2019 to contend that even the learned counsel for the respondent has given his consent for extension of time. I find that there is no appearance for the respondent. Learned counsel for the petitioner also states, he had a telephonic discussion with the learned counsel for the respondent, who informed him as he suffered slip disc, he is unable to come to the Court but his consent is there for extension of time for the learned sole Arbitrator to complete the proceedings and render the Award.
Noting the said statement, the petition is allowed. The time for the learned sole Arbitrator to complete the proceedings and render the Award is extended by a period of six months w.e.f July 19, 2019. Petition stands disposed of.
