1. The present petition has been filed for seeking parole in case FIRNo.131/2010, registered at PS Pandav Nagar under Section394/397/302/34 IPC for four weeks on the occasion of mundane ceremony of two years daughter to be scheduled on 28.08.2024.
2. The perusal of the record indicates that the wife of the petitioner had moved to the competent authority for parole, which has not been decided.
3. Learned ASC submits that on receipt of the application for parole, the same was forwarded by the Superintendent, Home General Department with a recommendation that the petitioner should be allowed to avail his all spells of furlough first before sending his application for grant of parole. authority shall grant the furlough if he is found eligible in accordance with the Delhi Prisons Rules, 2018.
4. In these circumstances, let the petitioner apply the application for furlough in accordance with the rules and the competent authority is directed to decide the same within two weeks.
