2.
Petitioner nos. 1 to 4 and respondent no.2 complainant are present in Court and are duly identified by the IO.
3.
Complainant got married to Anish Ahmed on 19th February 2012 and were co-habiting together at their house in Chaman Park, Karawal Nagar, Delhi. Two children, one male and one female child were born out of the said wedlock. However, due to matrimonial discord they started living separately from 13th June 2023. Efforts were made for settlement which have now fructified. However, husband Anish Ahmed has since passed away on 16th May 2017.
4.
Complainant is living in matrimonial house with her children and her in-laws. She states that she has no objection to quashing of the FIR since their issues have been resolved.
5.
Considering the above settlement between the parties and the chances of conviction of the petitioners being remote and bleak, there is no use continuing with proceedings of the present FIR as it would be a misuse of the process of the Court and an unnecessary burden on the State exchequer. Accordingly, the petition is allowed. Consequently, the FIR No.650/2013 PS Mehrauli under Sections 498A/406/506/34 IPC and proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.
6.
Parties shall abide by the terms of settlement. 7.
Accordingly, the petition is disposed of. Pending applications (if any) are disposed of as infructuous.
