The present petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking the following prayers:

"(i) issue an appropriate writ, order or direction, especially in the nature of mandamus, directing the Respondents to withdraw the name of the respondent No.5 from the list dated 16.10.2023 of Indian Contingent for Para Asian Games, Para Badminton Tournament being held in Hangzhou, China.

(ii) issue an appropriate writ, order or direction, especially in the nature of mandamus, directing the Respondents to immediately restrain Respondent No.5 from participating in the Para Asian The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. Games which is being held in China from 22.10.2023 to 28.10.2023: and (iii) pass such order/further orders as may be deemed proper in the interest of justice."

It is noticed that the concerned sporting event with regard to which reliefs have been sought in the present petition is already over. As such, the prayers sought in the present petition have become infructuous. 3.

In the circumstances, this Court is not inclined to keep the present petition pending. The same is accordingly, disposed of. 4.

Needless to say, the petitioner is at liberty to agitate other outstanding issues (if any) by instituting appropriate proceedings in accordance with law. All rights of the petitioner in this regard are reserved. 5.
