This is an application filed on behalf of the petitioner for grant of regular bail in case FIR No. 246/2023, under Section 498-A/304-B IPC, PS Nangloi, West District.

After part submissions, Ms. Urvashi Bhatia, learned counsel, who appears for the petitioner, seeks permission to withdraw the bail application. However, she makes a request that directions be given to the trial court to expedite the recording of evidence of the witnesses. She states that out of 38 witnesses, cited by the prosecution, only four witnesses have been examined so far.

The statement made by the learned counsel is taken on record and the application is dismissed as withdrawn. However, the trial court is requested to make best possible endeavour to expedite the recording of the statements of the witnesses in an expeditious manner.
