India read with Section 482 of Cr.P.C. seeking writ in the nature of habeas corpus for production of the Petitioner's daughter who is a minor and is stated to have left the Petitioner on 2nd July, 2024 7.

On the last date of hearing i.e., 24th July, 2024, it was submitted on behalf of Respondents that they are in the process of tracing the girl. 8.

The Status Report dated 26th July, 2024 has been handed over by the ld. Standing Counsel for the State, Mr. Sanjay Lao, under the signatures of SHO, P.S. Sunlight Colony. As per the aforesaid status report, various steps were taken to trace the girl and finally, she has been traced and recovered from Sultanpur, U.P. on 24th July, 2024. She has also been medically examined in AIIMS, Trauma Centre. She has given her statement under Section 183 BNSS wherein she has expressed her intention that she wants to go back to her parents. In her statement, she has also stated that she got married to Pritam, with whom she also had physical relations.

The Court has interacted with the girl in Chamber. She has clearly stated that she wishes to go back to her parents and not to Pritam. 10.

The girl has been handed over to parents, who are present in Court. 11.

The writ petition is disposed of.

In view of the fact that the girl has now been recovered and handed over to the parents, she may not be produced before the CWC. PRATHIBA M.
