The present petition is filed seeking the following relief: "A) Issue an appropriate Writ/Order thereby directing the Trial Court [i.e. Hon'ble Court of Sh. Visvesh, Ld. Judicial Magistrate First Class, Dwarka Courts, South-West, New Delhi] to expedite and conclude the trial of the present case [i.e. FIR No.350/2013 registered U/s 498A/406/34 IPC at P.S.: Chhawla, South-West], in a fixed time frame on day to day basis, in the interest of Justice."

The learned Additional Standing counsel for the State, at the outset, submits that no unwarranted adjournments have been taken and no delay has occurred before the learned Trial Court. 3.

He submits that every endeavour will be made to produce the remaining prosecution witnesses without any delay. 4.

apposite to pass any order indicating a fixed time for day to day proceedings in the matter at this stage.

However, keeping in mind that the FIR was lodged way back in the year 2013, the learned Trial Court is requested not to grant any unwarranted adjournments in the present case and try and conclude the trial expeditiously.
