This petition is filed on behalf of the Petitioner under Section 29A (4) and (5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 ('1996 Act') seeking extension of the mandate of the learned Sole Arbitrator by a period of six months w.e.f. 16.06.2025.

Disputes having arisen between the parties in relation to Employment Agreement dated 05.03.2018 executed between the parties, vide which Petitioner was appointed as CEO and Whole-time Director of the Respondent, Petitioner filed a petition under Section 11(6) of 1996 Act in this Court being ARB.P. 925/2021, which was allowed on 11.10.2021, appointing the Sole Arbitrator to adjudicate the disputes between the parties. From time to time, mandate of the learned Arbitrator was extended by this Court and lastly vide order dated 11.07.2024 in O.M.P. (MISC.) 25/2024 for a period of one year, which expired on 16.06.2025. It is stated in the petition that the arbitral proceedings are at the stage of final arguments. O.M.P. Issue notice.

Ms. Mohana Malhotra, learned counsel accepts notice on behalf of the Respondent and on instructions, submits that Respondent has no objection to the extension of mandate of the Arbitrator.

Accordingly, with the consent of the parties, mandate of the Arbitrator is extended by a period of 06 months from 17.06.2025. 6.
