% 25.11.2024 CRL.M.A. 34872/2024 (Reduction in amount of personal bond & surety) 1.
This application has been filed on behalf of the petitioner seeking reduction of amount of personal bail bond and surety, directed by this Court as part of bail condition in order dated 25th October 2024. 2.
It is stated in the application that petitioner is an Afghan national, and has no social connections in this country, and is, therefore, unable to furnish personal bond and surety in the sum of Rs.1 lakh, as directed by this Court by order dated 25th October 2024.

In the facts and circumstances as stated in the application as also considering the guidelines issued by the Supreme Court in SMWP (Crl.) No. 4/2021 dated 31st January 2023 titled In Re Policy Strategy for Grant of Bail, the application is allowed.

Accordingly, the said condition is modified, and it is directed that petitioner be released on furnishing personal bond in the sum of Rs. 30,000/- with one surety of the like amount to the satisfaction of the Trial The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.
