The petitioner has challenged her termination from the post of District Project Officer ["DPO"], South District, Delhi Disaster Management Authority ["DDMA"], by order of the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi ["GNCTD"] dated 26.02.2019. 2.

Mr. Ankit Bhadana, learned counsel for the petitioner, submits that the petitioner was first appointed in DDMA on a contractual basis in the year 2011, and her contract was extended from time to time. He submits that the impugned termination was not on account of any inquiry or disciplinary findings against the petitioner, but the petitioner was not allowed to complete her term. nor given three months' pay in lieu of notice. 3.

Although Mrs. Avnish Ahlawat, learned Standing Counsel for GNCTD, submits that the petitioner was appointed as DPO only on 14.09.2016 for a period of one year, she does not dispute that the contract was thereafter extended. She states that the respondent will pay to the petitioner three months' pay in lieu of notice, if not already paid. 4.

Mr. Bhadana states that no further relief is required in this writ petition.

The writ petition, alongwith the pending application, is therefore disposed of with the direction that the respondents will remit to the petitioner three months' pay at the same rate as she was last paid, if not already paid, within a period of two months from today.
