The petitioner seeks anticipatory bail under Section 438 Cr.P.C. in case FIR No.481/2016 registered under Sections 186/353/332/308/34 IPC at PS Hazarat Nizamuddin. Status report is on record.

I have heard the learned counsel for the parties and have examined the file. Injuries sustained by the victim are stated to be 'simple' in nature.
Petitioner's wife has already been arrested and released on regular bail on 27.10.2016. The petitioner was not found involved in any other criminal case for which he was suspected by the police officials and inquiries were made from him.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner is granted anticipatory bail and in the event of arrest, he be released on furnishing personal bond in the sum of ` 40,000/- with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of the SHO/Investigating officer. He shall, however, join the investigation as and when required.

The bail application stands disposed of.
