% 16.02.2018 The present petition has been filed by the petitioner with the following prayers:

"In light of the above circumstances it is most respectfully prayed that this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to: A.

Issue a writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate Writ, Order, Command or Direction to the respondent department directing to transfer the permit of Vehicle bearing No. DL 1RK 2920 on the name of petitioner as per the guidelines of the respondent department as per the terms and conditions of the Circular No.

DC/(ARU)TPT/55/2011-12/1176-1184.

And any other/further order(s) as this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to pass in the interest of justice and equity." Learned counsel for the petitioner has drawn my attention to page 19

of the paper book which is a receipt of deposit of Rs.2,000/- for the purpose of transfer of permit. Learned counsel for the respondents, who appears on advance notice, states that the respondents could not locate the file of the permit and as such the case could not be processed. He states on instructions that in view of the receipt annexed at page 19, the concerned file shall be traced and the case shall be processed within four weeks as per the rules and guidelines. The decision shall be communicated to the petitioner within a week thereafter. The submission made is taken on record. Learned counsel for the petitioner states, the aforesaid shall satisfy the grievance of the petitioner in the present case and the matter be disposed of. Ordered accordingly. Dasti.
