% 29.07.2024 1.
Present appeal has been filed challenging the interim order dated 03rd July, 2024 passed by the learned Single Judge in W.P.(C) No.8873/2024 wherein an application bearing C.M No. 36058/2024 seeking interim stay on the blacklisting order, contained in the reply to C.M.No.25799/2024 dated 24th May, 2024, in W.P.(C) No.7755/2023, passed by the respondents against the appellant (herein) was dismissed. 2.
Learned senior counsel for the appellant contends that the blacklisting order has been passed in an unreasonable and arbitrary manner without even issuing a show cause notice. He states that a copy of the impugned blacklisting order has not been served upon the appellant. The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. The Order is downloaded from the DHC Server on 31/07/2024 at 12:26:13
3.
Per contra, learned counsel for the respondent-UOI states that the appellant's underlying writ petition is not maintainable as alternative effective remedies have not been availed of by the appellant. 4.
In view of the fact that the learned Single Judge is still seized of the controversy and the writ petition is listed for hearing on 27th August, 2024 before the learned Single Judge, this Court is not inclined to interfere with the impugned order. We have no doubt that the learned Single Judge shall make an endeavour to dispose of the writ petition on the next date of hearing itself.
5.
Accordingly, the present appeal along with the applications is disposed of. This Court clarifies that it has not commented on the merits of the controversy. The rights and contentions of all the parties are left open.
