The present petition has been filed seeking initiation of contempt proceedings against the respondents alleging willful disobedience of the directions contained in the order dated 18th April, 2022 passed in W.P.(C) 3147/2022. By way of the aforesaid order, it had been directed that pension of the petitioner be released within a period of 15 days of the said order w.e.f. August 2020 with interest @ 6% per annum. 2.

Learned counsel for petitioner submits that the arrears of pension have already been released. However, interest @ 6% per annum has not been released.

Per contra, learned counsel for respondent nos. 1 and 2 submits that the order has been duly complied with. She has handed over a copy of the Utilization Certificate issued by the office of Delhi Cantonment Board dated 14th December, 2023. Thus, she submits that an amount of Rs. 40,053/- has The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. been released to the petitioner on account of payment of interest @ 6% for the period from September, 2020 to November, 2022. The aforesaid Utilization Certificate is taken on record.

In view of the aforesaid, the statement of the respondents is taken on record that the order dated 18th April, 2022 stands fully complied.
