The present petition under Sections 11 and 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, read with Article 21 of the Constitution of India, 1950 seeks the following prayers: - "In view of the above submissions, it therefore must humbly prayed that this Hon'ble Court may graciously be pleased to punish the respondents as per section 11 and 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act for disobeying and flouting the orders of this Hon'ble Court dated 08.07.2019 in Writ Petition (Civil) No. 4257/2019. The petitioner be also granted any other relief which the The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.
Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case along with the cost of the petition."

Vide order dated 08.07.2019 in W.P.(C) 4257/2019, learned Division Bench of this Court had passed the following directions: - "3. After the said exercise is complete, steps will be taken to release the compensation payable to the respective persons found entitled therein, in terms of the supplementary award not later than 12 weeks from today. If any of the members of the Petitioner Association is aggrieved by the said orders, it will be open for them to seek appropriate remedies in accordance with law." 4.
Learned counsel for the MCD has handed up in the Court today a status report dated 14.05.2026 filed by Admin. Officer (L&E) and the same has been taken on record. In the said status report, it has been stated as under: - "The Land Acquisition Collector, District Central, Govt. of N.CT of Delhi has passed supplementary award of Rs. 10,62,03,033/- vide Award No. 12/LAC(C) /17-18 for the payment of superstructures which were situated on the land acquired by the LAC vide main Award No. 12/LAC(N)/12-13 for the construction of Grade Separator, Rani Jhansi Road, Delhi.
The Competent Authority has approved to make the Balance payment of Rs.2,77,22,427/- (Two Crore Seventy Seven Lakh Twenty Two Thousand Four Hundred Twenty Seven Only.) out of Rs.10,62,03,033/-. Further, the department has already deposited the amount of Rs.7,84,80,606/-(vide Demand Draft No, 225685 dated 03.09.2021 & 225388 dated 06.09.2021 Rs.7,58,37,000/- and Rs. 26,43,606/- respectively).
Accordingly, Demand Draft bearing No, 145434 dated 0805-2026 for Rs.2,77,22,427/- issued by SBI Chandni Chowk Delhi is hereby enclosed herewith please."

In view of the above, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that no further orders are necessary as the order dated 08.07.2019 in W.P.(C) 4257/2019 has been complied with, and in view of the same, he seeks leave The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.
to withdraw the present petition.
