Learned counsel representing the Petitioners submit that during the pendency of the present Petition, the Petitioners have been promoted to the post of Head Constable. In view of the said development, he seeks permission to withdraw the present Petition, with liberty to make an appropriate representation before the Competent Authority for grant of consequential benefits arising out of such promotion.
