By way of the present application under Section 482 read with Section 389 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, the applicant/ appellant seeks modification of the bail condition (i) as mentioned in the order dated 04.12.2023 to the extent that the appellant be permitted to stay at his home in Village Pavra, PO Pavri, PS Kheri Gandya, District, Patiala, Punjab, after being released on bail till the pendency of the appeal. 2.

In compliance of order dated 05.04.2024, the Status Report has been filed stating therein that the permanent address of the appellant at Punjab, after verification has been found to be correct. 3.

Learned APP for the State submits that in view of the verification of the appellant's address at Punjab, he has no objection if the application and The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. the appellant is permitted to stay at his home till the pendency of the appeal.

As such, considering the Status Report filed on behalf of the State wherein the appellant's address at Punjab has been duly verified and in view of the submissions made, this Court deems it fit to allow the present application.

Accordingly, the application is allowed and the bail condition (i) as mentioned in order dated 04.12.2024 is modified and shall be read as under:- i.

Appellant shall ordinarily reside at his permanent place of residence at Village Pavra, PO Pavri, PS Kheri Gandya, District, Patiala, Punjab.

This order shall be read in conjunction with order dated 04.12.2023. 7.

Copy of this order be forwarded to the concerned Jail Superintendent for information and compliance forthwith.
