The contempt alleged pertains to the interpretation of orders passed under Section 17B of the Industrial Disputes Act. On being pointed out that the orders, contempt whereof is alleged are capable of being executed through recovery proceedings, learned counsel for petitioner on instructions seeks permission to withdraw the contempt petition with liberty to file appropriate execution proceedings. Keeping in mind that the petitioner workman has been in this Court through this petition since 2022 and the relief sought is under Section 17B of the Act, the Executing Authority is directed to carry out the execution proceedings as expeditiously as possible. With these directions, the contempt petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty as sought. Of course, this order is without prejudice to rival contentions.
