The petitioner has filed this application for permission to withdraw the petition on the ground of a settlement between the parties. A copy of the Settlement Agreement dated 23.07.2024 has also been annexed to the application. Ms. Smita Maan, learned counsel for the respondent, appears on advance notice of the application, and confirms the settlement. 2.

For the aforesaid reasons, the application is allowed, and O.M.P. (COMM) 279/2022 is dismissed as withdrawn.

The next date of hearing in the petition, i.e., 02.09.2024 stands cancelled.

Learned counsel for the parties state that they will remain bound by the terms of the settlement.
