% 21.04.2017 Learned counsel for the respondent submits that an affidavit has been filed today vide diary No.209243. A photocopy of the same has been produced in Court.
He submits that out of total 2607 applications received, 1350 were renewed in the year 2016, 1035 were renewed in the year 2017 and 62 applications received after the expiry of validity period are under submission for rejection and 160 applications received after the expiry of the validity period have already been rejected. He submits that 950 applications are pending consideration for want of Demand Draft. The statement is taken on record.
In view of the above statement, learned counsel for the petitioner does not wish to press the present petition any further. The Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of. APRIL 21, 2017/'Sn'
